Pride in the little things
There are a lot of things to learn when starting a business and a lot of things to take pride in. When we started The County Soda Company I had worked the majority of my adult life working in Business Development in the tech sector. Back then starting a craft soda company wasn't so much on my radar. Fast forward to now and a lot of lessons learned and some great customers and friends gained a long the way. One of the things I never thought back when I was a biz dev guys that I would care about...even take pride in is stacking skids. There is a certain zen like calm to the job on canning days, keeping up with the filling machine, keeping your rows and levels straight and solid. So while we keep focused on the big picture I stay happy paying attention to the little things and the quality of my pallet stacking.
